Mushroom Chocolate Store, strives to provide our customers with the best possible shopping experience. This includes fast and reliable shipping services to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Here’s what you need to know about our shipping policy:

Processing Time

We aim to process and ship all orders within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. However, during peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Options

We offer several shipping options to meet your needs. The available shipping methods will depend on your location and the size and weight of your order. The shipping options available may include:

  • Standard shipping: This is our most cost-effective shipping method. Delivery time may take between 3-5 business days, depending on your location.
  • Expedited shipping: If you need your order in a hurry, we offer expedited shipping options. Delivery time may take between 2-3 business days, depending on your location.
  • Overnight shipping: For the fastest possible delivery, we offer overnight shipping. This option is only available for orders placed before 12 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Please note that orders placed after 12 PM EST will be processed the following business day.

Please be aware that chocolate shipped during spring/summer may melt if an option that takes longer than 2 days is selected. We do our best to insulate the chocolate well, but after 48-72 hours, the benefits of said insulation have usually worn off. So, if you want to keep your chocolate in good shape, please choose a 2-day shipping option at checkout.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated based on the shipping method selected, the weight and size of your order, and your location. The shipping cost will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to most countries. Shipping rates and delivery times will vary depending on your location. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the status of your shipment online. Please note that tracking information may not be available for all shipping methods.

Delivery Issues

If you have any issues with your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.

 

Refund and Return policy

We have a 30-day return policy on online orders, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Reservations

For events that require a reservation (Afternoon Tea, Fondue, Tasting Class) cancellation/change requests must be made at least the day prior in order to receive a full refund. We also are happy to reschedule bookings within the same day if another time slot is available. If a same-day cancellation occurs, you will be refunded only 50% of the purchase price to cover the cost of goods and labor that go into the advanced preparation of those experiences.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
